Confetti Poppers and Angry Balls

I'm a little late on my Friday post this week.  I went out with some girlfriends for a fun craft event at West Elm.  On the way to the event, I stopped to appreciate that the trees are still looking beautiful!  The trees in my front yard lost all of their leaves (when I raked 25 lawn bags) super early, so it is nice to see that some trees are still looking like fall!

Now to the event.  We showed up to the new West Elm store on the Country Club Plaza (a must visit area in KC-lots of shopping and food).  We knew it would be a classy event when there was a nice band in tuxedos playing!

It was a craft night.  We learned to make confetti poppers.  They had cider, a few snacks, and the confetti area all setup.

I'm not sure if it will work, but we each created one for New Years Eve.  I guess if they don't work, we can pick up the confetti and toss it in the air...same effect!  :)

Post crafting drinks are a must!  It was my first time to try Angry Balls shots.  The bar made giant shots!  It is Angry Orchard with a shot of Fireball.  Delicious drink that tastes like apple cider.  Perfect for fall!

That's was my Thursday evening.  Since it included some of my favorite things-friends, crafts, fun drinks...I'm linking up with Heather and Katie for Friday Faves.  As always, thank you ladies for hosting!!

    1. The trees in my front yard are terrible, but some of the others around the city still looked good. We got some snow this weekend, so I have a feeling that the trees are done here too.

  5. Sounds like it was a fun night! I love West Elm -- we've been shopping there quite a bit lately for ideas, but haven't committed to any furniture yet.
