Treat Yourself Tuesday #37

Happy Treat Yourself Tuesday!!  If you haven't heard of it, head over to Becky's blog for her latest BIG news and to see why it is important to treat yourself and to check out everyone's links too.

With the arrival of snow and the cold weather, I have been treating myself to warm beverages.  Hot cocoa with mini marshmallows makes me smile every time!  (So does my owl pot holder!)

We got a gift card to Pier 1 for a wedding present.  I was so excited to go shopping because they have the cutest stuff!  I got so many great Christmas decorating ideas and I bought new centerpiece items.  I am loving the way the table is coming together!!  Don't mind the fall place mats...those are leaving this weekend to make way for Christmas decorations.

I broke down and bought a pair of wedge booties.  I decided that wearing snow boots to work every day is unacceptable.  These were a deal that I couldn't turn down!  The last pair for $40=must purchase!!

I am not totally selfish...the first Christmas gift that I bought for someone arrived yesterday.  I was so excited to check out my latest Etsy purchase.  As always, it turned out to be exactly what I wanted...Etsy has so many great things!!

Do you buy Christmas presents super early or wait until the last minute?  I usually start buying in late November and try to be done at least a week or two before Christmas.

  1. Those wedge booties are so cute! I took forever (three seasons?) to finally buy a pair of open toed booties. When they first came out, I thought, those just don't make sense. But I finally bought a pair of wine-colored ones this past fall and have enjoyed wearing them. Now that snow has fallen, it's too cold for them.

I have been known to buy Christmas presents in the dead of summer. The hard part is remembering where you stashed those presents, come December.

    1. I love open toe booties, but I don't think I would wear them very often. I'm a ballet flats girl! The wine color sounds awesome!

  2. Hi there! Saying hello via Becky's link-up. There's pretty much no shopping more fun than gift card shopping, and I love Pier One. Stay warm out there!! :) Here's how I treated myself: http://aladygoeswest.com/2014/11/18/treat-yourself-tuesday-and-le-tote-clothing/

  3. Those wedges are so cute. I have only been wearing tall boots, but maybe I need to get a pair of ankle length boots.

I have to travel home for Christmas, so I try to ship most of my gifts before I leave. Keeps me from running around too much last minute.
