Pinspiration Thursday-Pumpkin Decorating Party

I'm having some girls over next Friday for a Pumpkin Decorating Party.  After the Chiefs game on Monday night and cheering on the Royals with friends on Tuesday, I needed a low key night!  I only had 1 indoor game of volleyball last night, so I squeezed in a little time on Pinterest.  And by a little time, I clearly mean that I got sucked into checking out pins for an hour!  I haven't done a Pinspiration post in a while, so I thought I would do some party planning and share my favorite pins with you great people.

Today I’m linking up with Amanda for another episode of Thursdays are for Thinking Out Loud. Head over here to check out the linkup.

Let's start with food and drinks...because those are the most important part of any party!!  I plan to throw some taco soup or chili in a crockpot, but I want to get creative with a fall cocktail and fun dessert.  I found these 2 pins...and I think they will be perfect!!

Carmel Apple Sangria-This is the perfect drink to serve!!!  It's super simple with only 3 ingredients-Pinot Grigio, Carmel Vodka, and apple cider.  I love delicious and simple!!!!

Apple Crisp Stuffed Baked Apples-These would be perfect for dessert and such a cute presentation!!  Paired with some vanilla ice cream...yummo!!

A new fall outfit?? I probably won't buy a whole new fall outfit, but I love looking at clothes and pinning outfits for my next Stitchfix (<---referral link="" p="">

These are all great!!!

Of course I didn't forget pumpkin decorating ideas!!!

I love this monogrammed pumpkin!  It is also a really good idea to decorate a fake pumpkin so you can reuse it every year!

Pin
Buttons, tape, glitter, and other cute ideas!  There are several really cool and different ways to decorate a pumpkin in this pin.

Fall decorations for my house...I have some decorations, but these are some fun other ideas.

I pinned this pumpkin ice bucket last year. This will be a great opportunity to use it.  Seasonal beer, pumpkin, ice...easy, festive, fun!

I have been trying to decide how to fill my apothecary jar since my mom made it.  Pinecones and fall leaves are perfect for this season!

Do you carve or decorate pumpkins?

What is your favorite fall dessert?

  1. Fall fashion is my absolute -favourite-. Heck, there are so many things about fall that I love... including the sights, smells, flavours, and coziness that comes along with it. IT's been a while since I've actually carved a pumpkin, but I'm ALL about the fall desserts.
