Party Animals

I remember when going out partying included solo cups, lots of drinks, and drinking the night away.

Now it is housewarming parties, baby and wedding showers and birthday parties. Usually home by midnight. 

Last night we went to a friend's birthday /housewarming party. 

Cocktails and appetizers and gifts of wine and house plants have replaced bars and clubs. 

And surprise! I love it. I love feeling good the next day and sleeping in my own bed. Who knew it is just as fun to get older as it is to be in your 20s?!?

What are your weekend plans?

Are you getting in a long run today? Our city is covered in a sheet of ice so I'll be hitting the treadmill later.
