Treat Yourself Tuesday #28

I'm linking up with Becky again for Treat Yourself Tuesday. Check out her linkup for the many reasons why it is so great and important to treat yourself here. Since I did so much shopping/keeping ALL OF THE CLOTHES from my last Stitch Fix, this week's treats are a little more free low key.  Girl has to stay on a budget! :)

Pinot Noir was calling my name on Sunday evening.  I had a couple of glasses and caught up on magazines and Pinterest.  It was a nice treat to relax and unwind on the couch after our road trip.

My nails were looking really bad and chipped.  I can't squeeze in a visit to the nail salon this week, so I settled for a home mani/pedi.  I was thinking fall with the teal and orange-ish red.  Kinda fall??

It was a beautiful day on Monday!!  High was in the mid 60's and the humidity didn't feel as bad as 79%.  I didn't run this weekend, so I decided to do 6 miles on Monday night.  It was a treat to get the run done!  I have been feeling WAY behind on training for my half in 5 weeks.  I need to get in a couple of 8 milers and at least one 10 miler to feel ready.  There's still time and this run made me feel much better about my fitness level.

Porter has not left my side since we picked him up on Sunday afternoon.  I think he missed us while we were gone.  So, I have been treating myself to lots and lots of puppy snuggles.  He is an 80 pound lap puppy!!

How have you treated yourself this week?

  3. Your Sunday evening sounds delightful! I cannot wait until I can enjoy a glass of wine again. For now, it's magazines and Pinterest with a non-alcoholic spritzer or a mocktail. :-)

Sounds like your half training is back on track.
