Here we are at New Year's Eve. A time for reflection upon the previous year and a time to make resolutions to be better in the upcoming year. I love celebrating the closing of one year and the opportunities of the next! I found a fun New Year's Resolution Survey for you guys this year. Maybe it will help you coming up with a resolution for 2015.
A bad habit that I'm going to break: Mindless snacking. I often grab a box of crackers or the whole bag of chips instead of a handful. My goal is to think about what I am eating and if I am really hungry or just bored or thirsty.

A destination I'd like to visit: So many! I have a few trips on the books. I'm most excited for June-I have 2 trips back to back. Mexico for a friend's wedding and Myrtle Beach with the family. I have never been to Myrtle Beach, so I am very excited to check it out!
I'm going to work harder at: Blogging. I have grown so much this past year as a blogger. It is a hobby that I would like to work harder at...social media presence, picture and content quality, etc. There is so much room for improvement if I just work a little harder!
A project I'd like to finish: Planting a salsa garden. I started last year by clearing out and killing the weeds in the area where I want to plant it. Now I just need to learn how to keep the plants alive!

A class I'd like to take: Maybe I should say gardening! I'm actually not sure on this one.
I'd like to spend more time doing: Walking/running with my pup. I'd really like to train him to be a good running partner. He isn't bad now, but he still trips me and darts off when we run. I think this is the year that he will really hit his stride. (he, he...see what I did there! :))
A food I want to eat more of: Vegetables...eat the rainbow! I know this is lame, but it is true. There are so many amazing vegetables that I have never tried.
I want to wear more: Stylish clothes. Thanks to Stitch Fix (referral link), I have been branching out of my comfort zone some. I have finally learned to spend a little more money on quality pieces that will last a long time. I'm hoping that one day I will feel like I know how to dress myself!

I came up with a couple of my own...
A good deed I'm going to do: I'm signing up for Girls on the Run again, but I would like to pick another charity to get involved. I'm thinking one of the animal shelters is a great cause where I can really be involved!
A race I'm going to run: Heartland 39.3...I talked about it here. It is 3 half marathons in 4 weeks. I think it will be fun and challenging!
A book I'd like to read: So many...I'm currently reading The Husband's Secret and it is really good. The reviews were great and I'm certainly not disappointed. On my list: Where'd You Go Bernadette?, We Were Liars, and The Program and The Treatment.
I'm also going to do the Cookbook Challenge and Mileage Log Challenge again. Last year I wanted to cook more recipes from my cookbooks. I have so many laying around that go unopened, but I make plenty of things from Pinterest or recipes that I find online. I also want to track all of my miles this year. I planned to do it last year, but stopped pretty early in the year.
What are you New Year's Resolutions? I hope this inspired you to come up with a few.
Happy New Year's Eve!!!
